BAKERY PLUS – the 5th trade fair for Bakery, Patisserie Machinery, Ice Cream, Chocolate and Technologies attracted great interest from domestic and foreign visitors for four days (27-30 April) at ATO Congresium Convention and Exhibition Center in Ankara. A total of 25.326 people visited the trade fair where 94 exhibitors showcased on an area of 10 thousand square meters.
Organized after a 4-year break, this year for the first time, Bakery Plus also included international buyer activities. As a result, the number of international visitors increased the satisfaction level of the exhibitors. During the fair, exhibitors made agreements with many countries, especially Iraq, Croatia, Algeria, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine and Kosovo, and established new collaborations in foreign markets.

Emphasizing that the leading companies of the sector exhibited their latest technologies throughout the fair, Ufuk Altıntop, General Manager of Messe Stuttgart Ares Fuarcılık said: “While the stands featured cake, bread, chocolate, ice cream machines and equipment with the latest technology, a visual feast was provided with live cooking. One of the goals we set ourselves was to increase the number of exhibitors and visitors at this year’s fair, which we organized in the capital after a 4-year break. We are happy to reach this goal. What makes us even happier is that our exhibitors are satisfied with the fair with their positive business contacts. This year we also saw a successful increase in the number of international visitors. We think that this situation offers very positive opportunities for the export targets of our exhibitors.”

The fair, which was organized under the name IBAKTECH Ankara in the past years and hosted its visitors under the name BAKERY PLUS as of 2023, is organized by Messe Stuttgart Ares Fuarcılık, which is also the organizer of IBAKTECH (Istanbul).
